loved by all Bengalis, it is very easy to cook and great to taste.
INGREDIENTS:
Poppy seeds
(100gms).
Finely chopped
onions (1 big).
Dried red
chillies (2-3).
Salt to taste.
Mustard oil.
Rice flour (1-2
TBs).
PROCEDURE:
Grind poppy
seeds to paste along with dried red chillies. Take a neat bowl add the paste to
it, then add salt, chopped onions, rice flour and mix well. Now heat oil in a
flat bottomed pan or tawa, now take small small dumplings of poppy paste and
fry them in oil, fry in simmer till golden brown and remove from oil. Fry the
remaining.
Serve it hot
with dal rice, or steamed rice and enjoy the great taste of poopy pakoda.
