Tip of the Day : 
"While cooking if salt unexceptedly is used more, then add potatoes to the gravy to reduce the salt or add wheat dumplings which also reduces salt quantity in gravy."

  1. Use a deep vessel to fry chicken to avoid the splashing of oil and juices all around the place.
  2. To make softer kofta balls add chana (cottage cheese) along with the ingredients and churn it in mixer, it makes kofta balls softer very softer.
  3. If in case hot oil splashes on skin during cooking, immediately apply normal oil and salt and rub it vigorously so that no swelling happens. 
  4. To make crispier puris, add a little rava to the wheat flour while kneading. 
  5. To make onions golden brown in colour while frying add little amount of sugar to it.
  6. Soak the de-skinned onions in water before chopping, it help to stop the flow of tears cutting or chopping them.
  7. Soak finely cut ginger stick in chilled water before garnishing, it helps the ginger to remain stiff for longer time.
  8. While preparing mango pickle soak mangoes in water before slicing them, it allows the ingredients to go inside the pieces well.
  9. While preparing cake its best to use eggs in normal temperature, it helps the cake to grow fluffy.
  10. While deep frying anything heat the oil in high flame first then reduce it to simmer then add the contents, so that the contents gets fried well from with in.
  11. With yesterdays left over food which might be of high protein value can be reused by making pakoras out of it, with adding little chopped onions and chopped coriander leaves and besan to it.
  12. The left over lemon  skin is used to clean metal items or brass items, it gives shine to them.
  13. To de-taan apply potato juice and rub it on whole face and let it be for 15min and wash off later.
  14. While preparing any receipe of paneer, soak diced paneer cubes in salted luke warm water, this softens the paneer.
  15. While cooking in mustard oil, heat the oil till it smokes then cool it down and then fry it, else the contents which will be sticked to the walls of the wok and whole thing will be a massacre.
  16. Dilute vinegar with half mug water and wash off hair after Shampoo, it leaves hair shiny and silky instantly.
  17. While preparing Upma, Idli, Dosa or Uttapam use grated carrot, and grated beans, it enhances the taste and is also good for children.
  18. Green chillies tend to burst when fried whole in oil, to avoid it, cut it or poke it and then fry them.
  19. While grinding poppy seeds to paste in mixer grinder, initially grind it without water and then slowly slowly add water, you will get a fine paste.
  20. Soak golden or silver  items in a bowl full of water and add a pinch of surf, 1 tsp lemon juice for an hour or two, then clean it with a brush, all dirt will be cleaned and you will find you jewelry as new again.
  21. To get rid of hand irritation which occurs after chopping chillies, rub your hands with lemon juice, it reduces irritation and burning.
  22. Rub lemon juice and semi crushed sugar on tan areas like face, neck and hand, it instantly removes tan and gives a glowing look.
  23. While preparing paratha use two spoons else oil may splash over hands and tend to burn.
  24. Tomatoes pulp is good for skin as it restricts skin burn due to sun, and also acts as tonner.
  25. For a silky soft hair apply hibiscus leaf paste to both hair and scalp and leave for an hour or two and then wash off with shampoo.
  26. While frying fish, heat the oil so much that smoke emits from wok, then add fish else fish tends to break, or sticks to walls of wok.
  27. While frying gulab jamun, heat the oil in higer mode, then drop the dumplings into oil, it will float immediately, then simmer the flame and allow it to slowly fry in lower flame, it helps to get cooked from within.
  28. To give colour to your gravy add turmeric powder and a pinch of chilli powder to it.
  29. While cooking if cooked with butter and oil, oil prevents the butter from getting burnt, and butter enhances the taste of curry.
